Alleged Angelina's movie project about war in Bosnia


Zeljko Mitrovic refused to cooperate with Angelina Jolie

The owner of Pink Films International (PFI) Zeljko Mitrovic refused to cooperate in the new project Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie, announced today the PFI.

"I had great sympathy for her and very respected her work and character. Unfortunately, she is full of prejudices about the Serbs. I know that cooperation with her opens the door to a great movie business, but I do not want to be part of something that for the umpteenth time the Serbs as perpetual bad guys," said Mitrovic.

PFI said Mitrovic on Tuesday met with four other producers from the team of Jolie, to discuss his company's participation in creating a film that should be recorded in Serbia and partly in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

As stated, "regardless of the exceptional importance of this work, Mitrovic, after it produced more familiar with the scenario, refused to cooperate."

"As the action film set in the former Yugoslavia and the former war-affected areas, and how the Serbian people are placed in a negative connotation, Mitrovic has refused to in any way involved in shooting this film project," said the statement.

Neither Mitrovic, nor his company does not want to "in any way be a part of something that may or may want, to present for the umpteenth time the Serbian people in a very bad light."

It's added that Mitrovic decided not to be in any way involved "in spite of the size of the project and opportunities to achieve cooperation with the most popular and most attractive actress on the planet, which would certainly PFI company aligned with world production company".
