Rade Serbedzija speaks publicly for the first time the story of a great friendship with Angelina Jolie, and their expected meeting in Hollywood.
ZAGREB - Among our most famous actor with a career abroad Rade Serbedzija and Hollywood diva Angelina Jolie while filming her directorial debut "Untitled Love Story" has developed a sincere friendship, which is confirmed by photographs taken of their meetings in a hotel in Los Angeles, on Sunset Boulevard, near the Kodak Theatre.
They are driven by similar interests, life attitudes, but also a great love for acting and film. Although the great interest of local media for the arrival of famous Hollywood families to Brijuni last summer Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie caused then not to visit Croatia, Rade Serbedzija announced that acting couple not given up coming to Croatia this summer, becaude he'll try to ensure their privacy.
"We are very good friends. We know each other since we started work on her film. We started to correspond in may last year, together we were filming this fall ...She is a great person. Besides being a wonderful actress, a phenomenal human being and an educated woman she is, as you know, Ambassador of the United Nations.
She sacrifices a lot, traveling around the world, sometimes finding herself in very dangerous situations, like the ones that she told me recently in Afghanistan when they were caught in military operations. She is, however, accompanied and insured, but they are all terribly dangerous missions. And she remains convinced that she has the chance to help mankind. She's the perfect person. On the other hand, beautiful and hot women :) .We became friends and she is one of the best I have ever met in this profession" - Rade praised the glorious friend. Their friendship, says Serbedzija, will continue after the shooting.
- She called me to visit Los Angeles in mid-april, among the other few of us who have played major roles. She will show us the movie and wants to prepare some sort of ceremony - revealed Serbedzija.
For his part Serbedzija says it's a great, complex, very interesting, and that he enjoyed working on it.
- I think we managed to make a good role. We'll see what kind of movie it will be, but I believe it will be good because the script was very interesting. I still do not know the name of the movie, now is the "Untitled Love Story". Angelina is a great director. Be prepare for an amazing movie. Her instructions were always accurate, she was never restless, always cool, calm and knewing exactly what she wants. They were surrounded by a brilliant team of filmmakers, cameramen who won an Oscar, they were top professionals - says Serbedzija.
Escape from Sarajevo
Angelina's directorial debut recording from the beginning with great interest followed by all the media of the former Yugoslavia, which is why instead of the original location in Sarajevo director set moved to Budapest. - Why would it change? Many bad conclusions and stories were fabricated about this movie. We weren't going to Sarajevo because of the schedule, not because of the pressures and speculations. The movie was shoot in Hungary, Budapest - the actor explained.
Brad Pitt Serbedzija met before Angelina,he was working with him while working on a film by Guy Ritchie's "Snatch".
