Joan Collins: Angelina is only good looking actress today

Joan Collins said Jennifer Aniston is only 'cute,' though she championed Angelina Jolie's beauty.

The actress, 77, has several grievances with today's starlets, most notably their lack of classic Hollywood glamour, according to the UK's Daily Mail.Joan Collins wants to know: where has all the beauty in Hollywood gone?
"When I was young, everybody on screen was gorgeous," Collins said. "I have to say, there aren't that many good looking actresses around today. I mean, there's Angelina Jolie and there's ... Angelina Jolie."
But what about the gal who owned Brad Pitt's heart before Jolie?
"Jennifer Aniston is cute, but I wouldn't call her beautiful. She's no Ava [Gardner] or Lana [Turner]," Collins declared.
A rep for Aniston told E! Online that the actress was "aware" of Collins' snide remark, but felt there was "no need to engage with that nonsense."
Nevertheless, Collins went on to imply that current actresses don't emphasize beauty as much for fear it might distract from their talent.
The "Dynasty" star suggested, "Perhaps actresses of today, in their desire to be 'taken seriously,' feel that being groomed and well put together detracts from their ability."
Collins, often considered the model for aging gracefully, also lashed out at stars who resort to plastic surgery in order to keep their looks.
"They don't look like themselves," she complained. "I think there's something rather terrifying about people who are in their 50s or 60s trying to look 30 or 40."
Instead, says Collins, modern society is left "starved of gorgeous people."
Thank goodness for Angelina Jolie, then.

Bosnia revokes filming permission for Angie?

Bosnia revokes filming permission for Jolie film
SARAJEVO — Bosnian authorities on Wednesday revoked permission for US star Angelina Jolie to shoot part of her directorial debut film there after complaints from a women war victims group, Bosnian radio reported.
Gavrilo Grahovac, the Culture Minister of the Muslim-Croat federation -- one of the two entities in post-war Bosnia -- revoked permission to shoot scenes in Sarajevo and the central town Zenica, he said on Bosnian radio.
Hollywood trade daily Variety reported that the film will tell the story of a Serbian man and Bosnian woman who fall in love in the middle of the war, but are driven to take different paths.
However Bosnian press reported the movie would be a love story between a Muslim victim and her rapist, a Serb, causing outrage among victims' groups.
"They no longer have the authorisation to shoot in Bosnia. They will have it if they send us the scenario with a story which will be different from what we have been told by people who read it," Grahovac told the radio.
The culture minister said that while he could not stop the film from being shot somewhere else, revoking the filming license was a way to "express our disapproval for the shooting of a movie which does not tell the truth and hurts a large number of victims".
Jolie has already started shooting the film in Hungary and was planning to continue it in Bosnia.
According to Bosnian actress Zana Marjanovic, who has landed the lead in the movie, the film is "an epic drama against the backdrop of the 1992-92 Bosnian war".
But women war victims groups were up in arms over the film's reported subject of a rapist and his victim falling in love.
"This is misleading history. Among thousands of testimonies by women raped during the war, there is not a single one that tells of a love story between a victim and her rapist," Bakira Hasecic, the head of the "Women victims of war" association in Sarajevo, told AFP.
"We will not allow anyone to falsify our pain," she added.
International organisations have estimated that thousands of women were raped during the Bosnian war.
In February 2001, the UN war crimes court for the former Yugoslavia convicted three Bosnian Serbs for crimes against humanity and war crimes after they were found guilty of rape and forced prostitution of Bosnian Muslim women in the southeastern town Foca.
The verdict marked the first time an international court had ruled that rape was a crime against humanity.

The family have moved into a luxury 8,000 square-foot property in the exclusive Buda Hills area, overlooking the capital.
But with multiple homes all over the world, Brad Pitt understandably got a little lost when he was returning home from errands the day before his set visit.
The actor arrived at the gate of what he believed to be their rented home on his BMW F800 motorbike and was clearly baffled when no one would let him inside the gate.

After a few minutes of confusion and checking his phone, a helpful photographer pointed out that Brad's house was actually next door.
He lifted his hand in thanks and sped off to the correct house. Pitt is spending time with the family after wrapping his latest film Moneyball.
His next project will be World War Z with Heroes actor Milo Ventimiglia, which takes place 'ten years after the human victory over the world wide Zombie epidemic.'
