Angie: "Don't judge me before seeing the movie!"

Reacting to the ban imposed on filming in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Angelina Jolie has written a letter pleading to the Bosnian general public and organization Women – Victims of War not to make any rash judgements regarding the in-production film before they see it or at least read the script.
Angelina, accompanied by husband Brad Pitt, continued the filming on location in Hungary, while present at the set were Serbian actors Nikola Djuricko and Goran Jevtic wearing Serbian army uniforms.The film crew was filming yesterday in the Hungarian capital, and on the set an important role was played by Goran Jevtic and Nikola Djuricko in Serbian military uniforms and Kalashnikovs in their hands. During a break, Djuricko merrily chatted with Angelina and Brad, who was accompanying his partner on the set. Angelina has continued to shoot, despite protests from Bosnia and Herzegovina and the fact that she has been denied a permission to film in Sarajevo.
- “Do not judge me before they see the movie,” read the letter that was sent out on behalf to Angelina to the members of the Bosnian Association Women - Victims of War. Angelina has communicated with them over a UNHCR Representative and proposed to meet them during her next visit to Sarajevo.
Minister and Deputy Prime Minister of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina Gavrilo Grahovac on Wednesday overturned the licence that would enable Angelina to film in Bosnia. He said he could not allow this movie to be shot entirely, but that he was in the position to prevent it from being shot in Bosnia and that this reversal of the initial permit showed “a resistance the Bosnian people had towards a film that does not show the truth and that will hurt many of the victims of the war”. He made the decision after meeting with members of the association Women - Victims of War that claim that is scandalous that in Bosnia a movie should be made about a love between a rapist and his rape victim.
- “Among the thousands of testimonies of women who were raped during the war, there is none to speak of love between victims and abusers. We will not allow anyone to use this to our pain,” says Bakira Hasecic, president of Women - Victims of War, whose members are survivors of violence during the Bosnian war.
On the other hand, the Minister of Culture of the Sarajevo Canton and himself an actor, Emir Hadzihafisbegovic, announced that he would in the capacity of the Cantonal Minister of Culture issue a permit to Angelina Jolie to film on location in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The 35-year-old actress makes her directorial debut as she filmed some intense war scenes, complete with amputated soldiers, on today’s set.
The new wartime love story tells the story of a Bosnian woman who falls in love with a Serbian man in the middle of the 1992-1995 Bosnian war.
It looks like Angie won’t be able to shoot in the country where the film takes place anytime soon. Recently, Bosnia revoked the film’s request to shoot in Sarajevo on the grounds that no screenplay had been attached to the application. According to BBC, the Bosnian culture minister cited that the screenplay had to be included as required by law.

Angelina Jolie clocks in some overtime hours on the set of her new movie on Wednesday (October 13) in Budapest, Hungary.
Earlier in the day, partner Brad Pitt dropped by to visit her. He even gave Angie a kiss!
Last week, Brad landed in the Hungarian capital with the couple’s youngest kids, 2-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne.
