8. More on this film

Rajan Zed, the president of the Universal Society of Hinduism, told the WENN news agency that the star is so beloved in Cambodiaa world-famous Hindu religious site in Angkorhas been renamed the "Angelina Jolie Temple".

"It's a 12th-century site called Ta Prohm; it is otherwise known as Old Brahma and was initially named Rajavihara or the royal monastery," he said. "Now it's popularly called the Angelina Jolie Temple."

The building was the setting for various scenes in Tomb Raider – in which Jolie, as Lara Croft, battled a secret society called the Illuminati for possession of an ancient talisman. Today, local restaurants sell a Tomb Raider cocktail (Cointreau, lime and soda – said to be Jolie's tipple of choice). Meanwhile, the actor's son Maddox was born in the Siem Reap provincein which the temple complex is located.

Jolie's unofficial honour appeared to come with responsibilities, as Zed called on the actor to use her public profile and her status as "the patron saint of Cambodia" to help conserve the site. He added: "I'd urge Angelina Jolie to raise awareness about better preservation of this world heritage, as more needs to be done to safeguard the temple complex and its surroundings [and] save it from vandalism and looting."

Tim Burton would `love to work` with Angelina Jolie

Director Tim Burton said he would 'love to work' with Angelina Jolie on a new movie.

Burton, 52, is working on a script for a spin-off of Sleeping Beauty that will focus on the 'mistress of all evil' Maleficent and Jolie, 35, has said she would love to be involved.

Speaking about the actress, Burton said to MTV: 'I'd love to work with her. We're working on a script for that. It's hard to know when that script will be ready.

'But I'm a huge fan, I'd love to work with her - so, yeah, that would be a good one.'

Burton is also working on a new movie of The Addams Family, he said: 'Yeah, I've always been a big fan of the drawings, the key thing with that is to capture the spirit of the original artwork.'

1st image from Angie's directorial debut movie!

FIRST IMAGE FROM ANGELINA JOLIE’S BOSNIAN LOVE STORY

You may have now heard about the protest that Angelina Jolie’s directorial debut has drawn. Her Bosnian love story has been met with uproar from a Bosnian woman’s group. However, the political obstacles surrounding the film have finally been overcome, and the picture is moving forward.

The film is yet to receive a title, and is shooting under the simple tag ‘Untitled Love Story’. The Playlist just got their first look at the film in the form of a single color still.

While the image is indeed in color, the final product may not be. According to Angelina Jolie, there’s a possibility the film could see a black and white release.

"It’s shot in color but it could transfer to black and white. We haven`t decided that. I can show you… we put a series of pictures together in black and white and it was beautiful. But the important thing is I want to make sure that we make a film for people who just want to go to the movies to watch a love story. To not be put off by anything that seems too heavy. So we want to walk that fine line to make it accessible to everybody because it’s important for as many people to see it."

Check out the image below, and stay tuned as we’ll be bringing you more news on the picture as it is unveiled.
